This is my small personal site. Currently I am working for Softieto Oy making all kinds of user interfaces for miscellaneous web-based systems. In my spare time, I make electronic music in my small home studio. Check out my work on the next two pages!
About myself
I was born 31 years ago to a teacher-engineer family. I was a quiet kid, and had a morbid interest in jigsaw puzzles. Years passed, interests changed. I loved going to school and reading constantly, since it provided an escape from the misery that was the normal life. This set the tone for the rest of comprehensive school. A bookworm with no athletic pursuits is definitely no popularity contest material. This was the time I was introduced and hooked to computers. At the end of comprehensive school I spent practically all my free time fiddling with games, programming and electronic music with like-minded hermits.
After graduating from high school I found out hardcore programming wasn't my cup of tea. I changed schools from Jyväskylä polytechnic to university of Jyväskylä, and began to study information systems instead. During this time, I developed an interest in computer graphics and design, and got employed in that field later on.
In short, I love good food, a fresh pint of beer, thought-provoking movies, groovy music, and humour.
